Hey guy’s, guess what??? It’s one of our favorite days of the year here at Cattle Empire… wait for it… it’s NATIONAL CHEESE BURGER DAY!
Did you know that the average American eats 71 pounds of ketchup every year? That's more than 1 pound of ketchup a week. While we find that somewhat hard to believe, Hamburgers: The Economics of America's Favorite Food does offer some interesting pieces of knowledge: the average hamburgler consumes about 61 pounds of beef a year!! (Five Guy’s N Fries, anyone), America's favorite kind of cheese is American (surprise, surprise), 9 billion pounds and $2.2 billion worth of lettuce are eaten a year (gotta get your veggies somehow), and nobody likes sweet mustard.
Funny enough, the graphic comes from mint.com.
So in celebration of this glorious day that the cow is so gracious to provide for us, here is a roundup of the next five burgers you need to add to your menu. Enjoy!!
